Job Description

General summary:

New concept wine bar/restaurant is looking for Dishwashers/Prep cook.

What you will do:

Maintain sanitation of the kitchen, servery, dining room, and other areas assigned by Management.

Clean plates, trays, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using an industrial dishwasher or by hand.

Consistently adhere to the proper and safe use of chemicals in the workplace.

Perform general cleaning, as directed to include sweeping, mopping up, washing up, emptying of trash bins and boxes ensuring placement in the correct containers.

Ensure appropriate cleaning schedule is maintained for utility areas and equipment.

Follow all food safety protocols; receive and put away stock/delivers in designated storage areas.

Provide assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff needs, especially during peak times.

Learn new skills in cooking & preparing of food side by side with the chef.

Tasting Room Assistant (Part-Time)
Job Description

General summary:
At Cellar 55 we strive to provide our customers with a unique and satisfying experience. The customer always comes first. When a customer is in the shop, everyone’s attention is on them. The Tasting Room Assistant readily assists customers to determine needs and make recommendations. The Tasting Room Assistant develops a strong customer base and builds relationships to maximize repeat visits. The Tasting Room Assistant works with other team members to ensure that all products are displayed, stocked and priced properly.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Demonstrates exceptional customer service
• Demonstrates the capacity for customer engagement and salesmanship including approachability, perceptiveness, tact, resilience, ability to remain upbeat and take initiative
• Highly visible on the sales floor & Tasting Room to customers and associates, especially during peak transaction time
• Maintains open and flexible availability, including peak traffic hours
• Able to work; evenings, weekends and periods leading up to major retail holidays
• Ensures company standards are always met for store and associate’s appearance
• Assists in the maintenance of the store to ensure cleanliness and organization at all times
• Assists in stocking and presenting merchandise
• Prepares and serves food from small menu as needed
• Ensures menu orders are captured on the customer POS invoice
• Delivers menu orders to customers
• Buses tables in the tasting room as needed
• Monitors and interacts with customers to ensure a satisfactory customer experience
• Monitors WineWall and BeerWall to ensure everything is stocked and functioning properly
• Enforces all company policies and procedures, including health, safety, and security
• Perform all other associated duties as assigned by manager

Duties

Provide good customer service, take orders, deliver food & beverages and answer questions regarding the menu. Work closely with other staff and the kitchen to ensure the restaurant is operated efficiently.

  • Setting tables
  • Washing dishes
