Tyler
California
Santa Barbara County
Chardonnay
2022

Tyler Winery Santa Barbara County Chardonnay opens aromatically with notes of flint, and white chalk, with a combination of stone and citrus fruits, and a hint of florality. On the palate, the wine is extremely mineral-driven with notes of white pepper and green
apples.

Pinot Noir
2021

In a cellar where “place” is paramount this bottling is perhaps the Pinot Noir that best shows the attributes of where it lives. This is not an easy wine and it is very likely not a wine either for everybody or even a majority of people. This is a dark and savory Pinot Noir with the sort of tannin structure, one would expect from vines growing in something akin to a quarry. That is, however, why it is glorious for those who want something tougher, wilder, and completely different than the vast majority of Pinot Noirs made anywhere in the world.

A bottle of 2012 Vintage Port wine from Quinta do Noval.

Brouilly
Gamay
2020

Medium ruby color, you can see through the sample pour. A med+ perfume in the nose of spicy red strawberry, red currants, and cranberries, lots of lifted red fruits that rise easily with a swirl. Granite mineral notes and the spice and savory from the stems is a nice accent to the bright fruit. The palate is med/med+ in body, with medium acidity and tannin that adds a youthful structure. The flavors fan out over the palate and descend into a med+ finish that shows the light structure of the youthful and ripe tannins.

Vouvray
Chenin Blanc
2021

Crisp and fruity this crowd-pleasing, yet complex Vouvray exhibits hints of apple and citrus. A vivacious acidity merges with an abundance of minerality keeping the wine beautifully balanced.

A bottle of Pike Road wine with a colorful label.

Pike Road
Oregon
Willamette Valley
Pinot Noir
2022

Pike Road Pinot Noir is hand-picked and hand-sorted then fermented in small open-top stainless steel tanks. The wine is barrel-aged in French oak barrels between 8 and 10 months. Pike Road sources the best grapes and then takes a gentle approach to preserve the inherent qualities of the fruit and showcase the unique personalities of the sites we work with.
This Pinot Noir is dark with aromas of juicy plum, cherry, sassafras, and purple violets. The palate is very well-integrated with black fruit, plum skin, leather, and tart cherries leading to a pleasantly soft finish.

A bottle of red wine labeled 'Vispo de la Vida' with grapes artwork.

DOMAINE SPECHT

Alsace
Gewürztraminer
2021

Classic lychee and dill scents are bolstered by an aroma of milk tea. Indeed, this wine is quite creamy in texture, with pure lychee sweetness in perfect harmony with a tingly jolt of acidity. This is a Gewürztraminer-lover’s Gewürztraminer, with enough body and acidity to age beautifully for a couple of years if you’re so inclined.

A bottle of white wine labeled 'Kate' on a wooden table.

Tate
California
Napa Valley
Chardonnay
2021

The aromatics jump out of the bottle the moment the cork is pulled. Fresh pear, passionfruit and jasmine are immediate, while the soapstone minerality that this wine has every year is underpinning. The palate is rich with a slight creaminess around the stone fruit that persists on the finish. There is balanced acidity to refresh the palate which is equal to the viscosity. Although bright and lively in its youth, the acid will allow this wine to develop nicely over the next 5-6 years

Chateau Moncontour Blanc

Vouvray
Chenin Blanc

Nut and toast aromas lead to a smooth palate, with creamed apple and delicate orange zest flavors. Behind the crisp acidity, there is a mature feel, giving roundness to the delicious aftertaste.
